Will the murder case of the Black Dahlia ever be solved?
Numerous books have been written about this famous murder,The Black Dahlia, authors claiming the case to be solved based on their own theories,but the case still isnt solved after 60 years.Even with lack of evidence and clues to solve the case,is it still active or open to this day?
This remains an open homicide case wLAPD, but I am not optimistic that it will be solved, if you mean that a conviction will ever be obtained.
One side note on the Black Dahlia murder: Did you know that during the investigation of this homicide, the first registry of convicted sex offenders was compiled; and, to this day, this type of compilation has proven to be an effective investigative tool worldwide?
