Ive always had a moral reservation against expensive jewelry, and general distrust towards those who buy it or?
...sell it. I have tried to get past it but I can't help mysels. I can't see any point on it other than pride or vanity. Its not like real art, scupture, music, poem, painting, or archectecture, it dosent convay drama or feeling like these do, and it seems to exist so the person wearing it can enjoy the flattery of others who wear it and are impressed. Is this a malfunction? Am I missing the point of expensive jewelry? It seems to be an insignifiicant way to use significant money. I just can't trust people who do that. I guess I think theyre selfish snobs deep down. Is it only me? Its like gangs who wear some identifyng garb, and in this case is a snob gand and jewels are what identify them to each other. Its mainly the ones preoccupied with costly jewelry who I don't trust...I guess I see them as little Queen of Hearts, like on Alice in Wonderland movie. Am I odd for this whole view?
What right do you have to take such high ground against others? What makes you think you are so morally pure and without fault that you may pass such harsh judgement on others? Live and let live. It's really none of your business why anyone buys or wears anything. You don't trust someone simply based on what they wear? You are a far more pretentious snob than anyone who wears expensive jewelry because of your condescending attitude towards other people who you really don't know. For all you know that person in the diamond ring might have paid for the local woman's and children's shelter. The person with the expensive bracelet could be a transplant surgeon whose job is to save lives. Jewelry tells you NOTHING about what the person is inside and you have no business making snap judgements based on one small part of their outer appearance. You have no right to judge anyone so harshly. It is merely your opinion, nothing more. And opinions are like a very dirty smelly part of the human body, everyone has one an occasionally they really stink. Get over yourself. I don't trust anyone who judges without merit or forethought.
