Sculpt Jewellery
Need advise from a sculptor please?

I'm not a bad sculptor but I don't have much knowledge of sculpting materials.
I mainly make feather headdresses and costume jewellery for burlesque performers.
I've recently been asked to make a reproduction of the following bra and headdress:

It needs to have a silver metal looking finish but using Silver Clay would be too expensive. I was thinking of using Fimo then silver leafing it. Would that work? Does anyone have any better ideas? Bearing in mind I don't have access to a kiln or any specialist equipment.
Thanks

They make a product called Rub 'N Buff which is a wax based paste that you rub on any type of clay product to get a great metallic finish. Check the link. It is not expensive and doesn't need to be fired in a kiln. They have many metallic finishes from which to choose. Good luck!! : P
