How to Choose Wedding Jewellery
Wedding jewellery is often thought of as the final touch that makes a beautiful bridal outfit perfect, but that doesn't mean you can safely leave choosing it until the last moment! Finding exactly the right jewellery for this very special occasion should be near the top of your wedding planning to do list, especially if you're thinking of commissioning a one-off piece from a jewellery designer.
Once you have decided on the overall theme of the wedding, and have chosen your dress, you can start looking at all the jewellery options. Ideally, you want pieces that reflect and enhance the style of your dress without overpowering it. You'll need to take your hairstyle into account and the type of veil if you'll be wearing one. You might also want to think about your wedding's colour scheme and the flowers in your bouquet. Lastly, but most importantly, you should choose jewellery you love and will feel comfortable wearing.
Every wedding is unique of course, and you'll want to add your own personal touches, but here are some ideas for wedding jewellery to suit some of the most popular styles:
- Classic. To complement this timeless look seek out elegant, beautifully crafted jewellery that you'll still want to wear on your tenth, twentieth or fiftieth wedding anniversary.
